Our hearts are heavy from the tragedy in the Texas Hill Country. We pray for those impacted by the flooding. At all of our camps, Young Life has emergency procedures, both for natural disasters and accidents, and we regularly train on and review these procedures. The safety of every young person at camp is one of our highest priorities, and it influences our decision-making in every aspect of camp. Southwind is located along beautiful Long Lake at the edge of the 420,000 acre Ocala National Forest. In addition to its beauty, Southwind has plenty to offer. Our activities include a water recreation area, paddle boards, canoes, high ropes, beach volleyball, basketball, disc golf and much more. We are also located within a short drive of the beach and Orlando’s theme parks. Our passion is ministry and our desire is to partner with your group to make your time here meaningful and memorable.
